Genesys University is providing free Education Day sessions after

G-Force on Thursday, May 1.

This education day is aimed at reinforcing the strategic content of G-Force with your choice of four half-day sessions.

Sessions:

May 1, 8am-12pm

IP Contact Center Solutions
An overview of Genesys IP capabilities and associated products:  Delegates will be introduced to the way in which Genesys IP product line supports IP contact centers. Emphasis will be placed on the added value that the SIP can provide to the customer.

Topics include:

• Genesys SIP Server 7.5
• IP telephony concepts
• SIP and related protocols
• Hybrid and pure IP PBX support

The session will be an abridged version of the standard 3-day Genesys University course, SIP Server Installation and Configuration (SSI).

Info Mart & ICON – Reporting and Analytics
A synopsis of Genesys ICON and Info Mart's technical architectures.

Discussions include:

• How ICON and Info Mart fit into the Genesys Reporting offerings
• The Info Mart schema and the Info Mart ETL process
• How ICON and Info Mart can be architected—using sample case studies for demonstration— for a cross-section of typical environments 

This session is an abridged version of courses available on the Genesys University schedule.

May 1, 1pm-5pm

Framework, Routing and Operational Reporting Overview
A high-level technical and functional understanding of Genesys Enterprise Routing and Genesys Operational Reporting.

Topics include:

• An overview of Genesys solutions in general
• A basic look at the Genesys Framework Architecture
• Explanations of the routing and reporting architecture and functionality and how the two work together to create a powerful enterprise-wide system
• A brief introduction to viewing real-time and historical reports

This is an abridged version of the standard 2-day course delivered at Genesys University.

Exploring New and Improved Features in Genesys Routing 7.5
This session will explore some of the new features and functionality of Genesys routing and even review some good old favorites.

Consider some of these teasers:

• Have you used any of the new features of the IRD debugger?
• Have you figured out how to implement MACROs in IRD? 
• Ever wondered how to share agents without degrading the Service Level across business lines? 

The concepts presented in this session will provide a glimpse into Genesys University’s basic and advanced routing strategies workshops.

Free Certification Exams

Genesys University is providing free Certification exams on Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1.

Exams will be given during the following times:

Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1*

• 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The following certification exams will be offered:

• Genesys Certified Professional Version 7 — System Consultant, Inbound Voice (GCP7-CIV)
This certification for Version 7 is primarily targeted at Genesys partners worldwide that assist Genesys customers in planning, installation and configuration of inbound voice solutions.

• Genesys Certified Professional Version 7— Developer, Inbound Voice Routing (GCP7-DIV)
This certification for Version 7 is available to all Genesys routing developers involved in creating and/or maintaining routing strategies in the contact center.

• Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—System Consultant, Genesys Voice Platform (GCP7-CVP)
This certification for Version 7 is available to all system administrators, solution integrators, telephony specialists and any other technical role involved in planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Genesys Voice Platform solutions.
