Genesys University is providing free Education Day
sessions after G-Force on Thursday, April 23.
This
education day is aimed at reinforcing the strategic
content of G-Force with your choice of four half-day
sessions.
Sessions
Thursday, April 23 – 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Framework, Routing and Operational Reporting Overview
A high-level technical and functional understanding of Genesys Enterprise Routing and Genesys Operational Reporting.
Topics include:
- An overview of Genesys solutions in general
- A basic look at the Genesys Framework Architecture
- Explanations of the routing and reporting architecture and functionality and how the two work together to create a powerful enterprise-wide system
- A brief introduction to viewing real-time and historical reports
This is an abridged version of the standard 2-day course delivered at Genesys University.
Genesys Voice Platform 8 Overview
An overview of Genesys Voice Platform capabilities and associated products: Delegates will be introduced to various business cases with the Voice Platform Solution. Emphasis will be placed on the added value that a voice self service system can provide to the customer.
Topics include:
- Genesys Voice Platform 8.0
- Genesys Administrator (Management Framework 8.0)
- High-level deployment architecture
- Composer Voice for application development
The session will be an abridged version of concepts covered in the standard 1-day Genesys University course, Genesys Voice Platform Overview 8(GVO 8).

Overview of Genesys eServices Routing
An overview of the Genesys Customer Interaction Management Platform for routing non-voice interactions and work items. Examples will focus primarily on Genesys eServices such as Genesys E-Mail, but the majority of concepts will apply to other channels as well such as work items submitted using GTL. Delegates will be introduced to the associated architecture within the Genesys platform as well as the basics of business processes / workflows for handling the non-voice interactions and work items.
Topics include:
- Overview of eServices
- Basic Architecture and Functionality of Components
- Introduction to Workflows and Strategies for E-mail and Chat Interactions
This is an abridged version of the standard 3 day course delivered at Genesys University.
Workforce Management Overview
An overview of Genesys Workforce Management:
Delegates will be introduced to workforce planning concepts and contact center rules, forecasting, scheduling, and agent adherence. Emphasis will be placed on the added value that the Genesys Workforce Management Solution can provide to the customer.
Topics include:
- Workforce Management cycle (planning and production phases)
- Features and Benefits of Genesys WFM
- Steps to Reaching Business Objectives
The session will be an abridged version of concepts covered in the standard 1-day Genesys University course, Genesys Workforce Management Overview (WFO).

The following certification exams will be offered:
Genesys Certified Professional Version 7 — System Consultant, Inbound Voice (GCP7-CIV)
- This certification for Version 7 is primarily targeted at Genesys partners worldwide that assist Genesys customers in planning, installation and configuration of inbound voice solutions.
Genesys Certified Professional Version 7— Developer, Inbound Voice Routing (GCP7-DIV)
- This certification for Version 7 is available to all Genesys routing developers involved in creating and/or maintaining routing strategies in the contact center.
Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—System Consultant, Genesys Voice Platform (GCP7-CVP)
- This certification for Version 7 is available to all system administrators, solution integrators, telephony specialists and any other technical role involved in planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Genesys Voice Platform solutions.
*NEW* - Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—System Consultant, Genesys Info Mart (GCP7-CGIM)
- This new certification for Version 7 is available to all system administrators, solution integrators, telephony specialists and any other technical role involved in planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Genesys Info Mart solutions.

*NEW* - *NEW* - Genesys Certified Professional Version 7- System Consultant, Genesys SIP Server (GCP7-CSIP) (Available after April 20, 2009)
- This new certification for Version 7 is available to all system administrators, solution integrators, telephony specialists and any other technical role involved in planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Genesys SIP Server solutions. This exam supports Genesys SIP Server software version 7.6 and is also effective for candidates using version 7.5. .
